OALA's ServSafe® Managers Training & Certification Exam


RCFs in Ohio are required to follow the Ohio Department of Health's certification in food protection rule, 3701-21-25

Beginning on March 1, 2017, each risk level III and risk level IV food service operation (RCFs included) were required to have at least one employee with supervisory and management responsibility and the authority to direct and control food preparation and service that has obtained the Ohio Managers certificate in food protection.

This Certification Course will allow you to invest in your team
while ensuring you are meeting state requirements!
  • This Two-Day course includes the Exam needed to complete the Certification
    • Exam will begin at approximately 3pm on May 25th.
  • Attendees receiving a passing score (pass ≥ 70%) on the exam will receive a ServSafe® Certification
  • The Instructor is required to send in all exams to be graded. Attendees will not know immediately if their exam score has qualified them for ServSafe® Certification
  • Each participant will receive a copy of the ServSafe® Manager Book, 7th Edition
