Maintenance Manager

What You’ll Do
As the Maintenance Manager, you’ll support the Operations Director and Administrators by performing and overseeing daily, weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance tasks across Glenmont’s buildings and grounds.
- Facilities Maintenance
- Maintain or arrange service for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, kitchen equipment, roofing, and grounds
- Restock supply closets and inventory shelves
- Ensure furniture and nursing equipment are clean, safe, and in excellent working order
- Property & Grounds Care
- Maintain exterior cleanliness, including lawns, parking lots, and entrances
- Perform flooring and wall care
- Handle consumable equipment replacements (light bulbs, filters, toilet mechanisms, etc.)
- Training & Team Support
- Assist with training in electrical, plumbing, and fire systems
- Participate in interviewing and onboarding new hires
- Help schedule and guide subordinate staff
- Project & Vendor Coordination
- Produce scopes of work
- Interview and assess vendors
- Serve as liaison during project execution
- Documentation & Budgeting
- Maintain accurate digital and hardcopy documentation
- Track spending and submit proposals
- Prepare reports or presentations for the Board
What You Bring
- 2–3 years of maintenance experience (healthcare or nursing home preferred)
- Knowledge of painting, electrical, plumbing, and building systems
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, work outdoors, and respond to emergencies
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Servant‑leadership qualities and respect for Glenmont’s mission
- Spanish Language ability preferred but not required
