Rising Stars: Exploring the Surge of Certified Medication Aides
Gina Cappitti, LNHA, CEAL, CDP, and Director of Workforce Solutions brings over 8 years of experience in the long-term care industry. She has managed a variety of centers including skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities, as well as assisted and independent living communities. At LeaderStat, Gina’s focus is on implementing solutions to the industry’s workforce challenges and providing support to long-term care centers and professionals. As part of this initiative, Gina developed and continues to manage LeaderStat’s Medication Aide Certification program. She also manages LeaderStat’s Managed Service Provider (MSP) program and developed and conducts customized Recruitment and Hiring Consulting assessments to senior living centers. Gina serves as a member of several Professional Development and Workforce Committees for associations such as LeadingAge Ohio, Ohio Health Care Association, and Pennsylvania Health Care Association. Gina was recently nominated and inducted into the Marquis Who’s Who in America for 2022-2023 for her dedication to improving the lives of residents in nursing home facilities.
