Ohio requires two hours of initial training for staff members employed by a residential care facility where residents with late-stage cognitive impairment reside. Additionally, communities accepting Ohio's Assisted Living Waiver are governed by OAC 173-39-02.16 (C)(5) which outlines the required training for staff members.
